Love Me Trailer - First Draft

After research into the potential programs available to us, we opted to use Apple's iMovie instead of Adobe's Premiere Pro. There was a number of factors that contributed towards our final decision, but the most prominent was the ability to edit our film internally and externally of school. By using Premiere Pro, we could only edit during the school day upon one computer within the school. In contrast, by using iMovie, we could edit outside of school upon Aaron's laptop, which unlike the school PC was portable and offered greater flexibility.

Our Production Company - Nightfall Studios

Our various discussions surrounding our production company, we decided to adopt the name 'Nightfall Studios'. We selected 'Nightfall' as it is representative of the film's thrilling and dark nature. By referring to night, this connotes darkness, and the unknown surrounding the dark. Furthermore, within our production, "Love Me", the protagonist operates largely within the dark, kidnapping his victims. When discussing our logo, we collectively knew that we wanted it to feature a dark setting, situated at night. The street lamp slowly lights the setting, but not fully, leaving uncertainties lurking within the crevices of darkness. The logo eventually fades to black, creating an ideal beginning for our film. Overall, our logo is applicable to our thriller genre, as the logo connotes darkness alongside a gloomy undertone depicted by the street light partially illuminating the street.
